Some exact solutions to non-perturbative gauge theories and their applications.
We learn in schools: QCD is non-perturbative, it confines, it breaks chiral symmetry, its anomaly lets the neutral pion decay and makes eta’ massive. I discuss that all of these can be shown analytically in the “near-SUSY” limit. I also show many evidence that the “near-SUSY” limit is smoothly connected to the “non-SUSY” limit, akin to the BCS-BEC cross over. This method also allows us to solve chiral gauge theories exactly which does not agree with the old tumbling hypothesis. It in turn gives new opportunities for model building for dark matter or composite axion.
